Been busy working on Time to Blog! It isn't work. I write there because I enjoy it.

Getting serious about learning JavaScript and using this knowledge as a stepping stone to write smart contracts. Another avenue is to build something slick and useful on the block-chain ecosystem. 

I finally walked away from the casino business. What a nightmare that career turned out to be! Glad it is over. I managed to escape with my mind still intact. That's all that matters, now.

The digital slavery I imagined in 2018 is a reality. AI is still being created and fine tuned, improving it's capacity to drive the final nail into the coffin of humanity. 

And here I sit thinking about how I can make a dollar from this. I'm 70 years old with little to no financial resources. This digital Frankenstein is going to destroy human civilization and replace it with one created and controlled by the almighty General Artificial Intelligence. Even if it doesn't decide to wipe homo sapiens from the face of the Earth, it will destroy everything we have accomplished. We created this reality we live in. We did this through music, art, literature. All of this is being destroyed and replaced with a perverse machine copy of the original. Soon the original will cease to exist and what will remain will be a perversion of a reality we will be trapped in for eternity.

 The times they are a changing …

Went back to working a full time job last August 2021. I’m glad I did. I am way too old to be putting up with this nonsense, but I am dealing with circumstances beyond my controll.

Update long overdue ...

Just wanted to write something. I have been closely watching the COVID-19 pandemic. The political fiasco in Washington is really a sad spectacle to see. What else is new?

I will try and post something here in the near future.

The beginning of the end.

I forgot I had this blog. The more ingrained we become in this cyber universe, the harder it is to keep track of where you are. I don't think this is a good thing.

The "Information Highway" was this magical road we were introduced to.
It was paved with gold. This is a  meme we were all familiar with, on a conscious and an unconscious level. They sold this digital reality to us and we bought it hook, line and sinker, even if we really didn't know what it was.

A lot has happened since 1990. The promises keep coming how this new digital technology is going to make the world a better place for humanity. Those promises have not been fulfilled. On the contrary. We have been enslaved by it.

The worst is yet to come.
